   I didn't know you weren't on the job. I'm even more impressed by the post now. Thanks. It's always amazing to me to find out how many cops have NO idea about such basic things. I loive reading legal briefs and decisions like this. It makes me better at my job and better when it comes to explaining how and why I do the things I need to do on the street. More cops should pay attention to these things.

   Great post on Constitutional decisions! We need more info like this. Most people tend to forget this IS a cop board.

   While I am a civilian i have always been pro-cop, even when i get speeding tickets!!
   The courts are stacked against you and law abiding citizens.
   
   I have a godson and two close cousins in the NYPD - several friends who have retired - i worry about them constantly.
   I pray for all you brave men and women in the NYPD, NYFP and the Military.
